The crawl starts with Wannemacher Jensen Architects, an award-winning multidisciplinary team with a passion for creating innovative architecture. Ybor is just one of their 6 Florida office locations.
Next is EMPAD Architecture - a firm that boasts knowledgeable architects with beautiful built projects under their belts, including Dunedin Mix on Broadway.
Third is Chancey Architecture & Interior Design, a full-service design firm with more than 35 years' experience including extensive experience in residential design, among others.

Sacred Pilgrimage: Gaudi and Galban — A Conversation on Art, Architecture, and Inspiration
St. Petersburg, FL — Join Artist AGalban and Architect Peter Hauerstein for an afternoon exploring the intersection of art, faith, and architecture at the President Barack Obama Main Library, 3745 9th Ave. N., St. Petersburg, on Saturday, November 1st, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The event begins with AGalban sharing insights into his exhibit Sacred Pilgrimage: Gaudi and Galban, a body of work inspired by his transformative visit to Barcelona’s Basilica of La Sagrada Família. Following Galban’s talk, Architect Peter Hauerstein will lead an engaging presentation on Antoni Gaudí’s early influences—nature, faith, and symbolism—that shaped the visionary design of the basilica.
Select pieces from Galban’s acclaimed Gaudi and Galban Series will be on display during the event.
This special program is presented in partnership with the AIA Tampa Bay Center for Architecture and Design. The Sacred Pilgrimage: Gaudi and Galban Traveling Art Exhibit is made possible through generous support from the Gobioff Foundation and the City of St. Petersburg Individual Artist Grant.

The Art of Architecture
The Art of Architecture: A Panel Discussion on Friday, August 8 at 6:00 PM at The Portico. This engaging conversation will explore the intersection of art, architecture, and spirituality with leading voices in design and in partnership with AIA Tampa Bay's Center for Architecture and Design. It is hosted in concert with Sacred Pilgrimage: Gaudí and Galban, the first-ever traveling art exhibit by noted artist AGalban, embarks on a multi-city journey inspired by the visionary genius of iconic architect Antoni Gaudí and the ongoing construction of La Sagrada Família in Barcelona.

The 18-hole "South" course at the Ardea Country Club facility in Oldsmar, Florida features 6,796 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.5, and it has a slope rating of 127.

Discover the architecture of Gene Leedy, FAIA and the Polk Museum of Art
Join us for an enjoyable design-filled day in Polk County. We will start the day at Noon at the The Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art (The AGB) at Florida Southern College previously known as the Polk Museum of Art, to see the stunning addition by Straughn Trout Architects and enjoy the gallery exhibits. We will then pop over to Winter Haven to see three inspiring properties by the renowned Sarasta-School Architect, Gene Leedy, FAIA. His home, office and a third residence offered as a curated tour by Double Tee Arts, led by prominent architect Max Strang, FAIA. According to Strang, “Gene Leedy was a major design thinker and rigorous intellectual, his design strategies are more relevant today, than ever.”

Water Street Walking Tour
We will start our tour at the office of Gensler, a global architecture, design, and planning firm with a Tampa office located in Thousand and One at 1001 Water Street. With its signature biophilic design, Thousand and One is designed to connect people with nature. It incorporates natural materials, access to daylight, and expansive Tampa Bay views. Our tour guide, architect and planner Keith Greminger, AIA, will share insights about the design of the Water Street district before we embark on a walking tour. Tour: USF Judy Genshaft Honors College
The Judy Genshaft Honors College at the University of South Florida (USF), a five-story, 85,000-square-foot building is the latest educational facility at USF that marks the university’s ongoing expansion and growth. Located on USF’s campus in Tampa, the honors college was designed to encourage interdisciplinary exchange while providing flexible spaces to learn.
During the building tour you will learn about the building siting, architectural concept, and broad project concepts. You'll hear about how the program and campus drivers influenced the facade design, interior atrium concept and construction assembly. Also learn about the building's structural and mechanical systems and environmental concepts.
The building was designed by a collaboration between Morphosis Architects (design architect) and FleischmanGarciaMaslowski Architecture (executive architect) Learn more about the building here.

Film | The House: 6 Points of Departure
After 30 years, extraordinary architects Thom Mayne and Robin Donaldson return to a pivotal site in their careers. 2.5 years to design, 2.5 years to build, the Crawford House in Montecito, California emerged as a house of ideas and one of the world’s most widely studied pieces of residential architecture. The House takes us on an exploration of the creative process, art's impact on architecture, and reveals insights into these renowned architects' pursuit of the singular Idea.

Walking Tour of Historic Mirror Lake
Tour St. Petersburg's newest Local Historic District, Mirror Lake!
Designated as a LHD at the end of 2024, Mirror Lake and its surrounding neighborhood are a special part of the 'Burg.
While it is just blocks from Central Avenue, the area has its own sense of place, with an array of historic buildings including the 1916 Carnegie Library, and the 1924 St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club among many others.
The area still retains much of its historic integrity and is a part of the Downtown National Register Historic District in addition to its new distinction as a local district.
This tour, led by Preserve the 'Burg Executive Director, Manny Leto, and PTB Board Member Emily Elwyn, will focus on the historical development of Mirror Lake and what the recently created Local Historic District overlay means for future development.
We will begin at and include a tour of the Unitarian Universalist Church.
Attendees will walk about one mile over 1.5 hours. Please dress comfortably for the Florida weather, bring bottled water and wear comfortable shoes for walking.
