Please join FSC School of Architecture in welcoming Jerry Sparkman, AIA, NCARB, a founding principal of Sweet Sparkman Architects Sarasota, Florida. Jerry has spent over three decades in the profession and more than twenty years guiding Sweet Sparkman's growth since he helped found the firm in 2002. His work is grounded in a simple philosophy: respect the land and the people, and the rest follows. That approach has shaped some of the Gulf Coast’s most recognizable public and private places — from The Bay Park along Sarasota's bayfront to coastal state parks, beach pavilions, cultural institutions, and private residences. Jerry's practice sits at the intersection of resilient design and civic life, creating spaces built to withstand Florida's environment while strengthening the communities around them.
