USGBC forums bring together partners, senior decision-makers and industry experts to connect, share insights, and learn from one another. This year in Tampa, we’ll explore one of the fastest-growing priorities in real estate: wellness-driven development. Across the Tampa metro region, developers, owners, investors, and designers are demonstrating that buildings built for human health, community connection, and long-term resilience are the market's most competitive and most fundable assets.
Wellness-driven development is transforming how green buildings are financed, delivered, and evaluated. In LEED v5, the Quality of Life impact area now represents 25% of all credits, elevating human health, occupant experience, equity, and community resilience from “nice-to-haves” to essential drivers of high-performance buildings and stronger, more connected communities.
Join USGBC Florida, the City of Tampa, and Tampa Bay's leading developers, capital partners, and design innovators as we dig into what this shift means for the market right now and how the strategies emerging from the region’s most ambitious projects and communities are setting the bar for what comes next
