2008 Architectural Photography Calendar
Have your firm listed
Earlier this year, the AIA Tampa Bay Associate’s Committee sponsored their first amateur Architectural Photography Competition. The top 15 entries will be used to create a well-designed 2008 Architectural Calendar. The intent of the calendar is to boost appreciation of architecture within our community as well as to raise funds to support the important work of the Associate’s committee. We are offering an opportunity for 15 firms or individuals to sponsor the calendar. For a $200 donation your firm will receive extensive exposure, including your firm name or logo incorporated into one month of the calendar. Click here for more info.

AIA CE Annual Requirements
Keep track of your transcripts
All AIA members must successfully complete 18 learning unit (LU) hours each year, with at least 8 of the 18 LU hours relating to health, safety, and/or welfare (HSW). Members are not required to report annual hours to AIA, but must keep proof of transcripts in case of a random audit. AIA members may obtain their updated individual transcript records here

A member who fails to meet the annual requirement will be given a nine month grace period. Any credit earned in the following year will apply toward the deficit. During the grace period, members are able to report retroactively any activities that were completed in the previous year.

A member who exceeds the annual requirement may carry up to 18 LU hours (including eight hours of HSW) over to the next year. Carryover credit can be used for one year only; it is not cumulative. Only the number of credits needed to fulfill the annual requirement for the following year may be carried over. Extra credit may not be carried past the one-year limit.
