AIAS Beaux Arts Ball

The USF School of Architecture and Community Design invites the architectural community to the annual Beaux Arts Ball, "Hollywood." This standing tradition is an excuse to dress up, eat, drink and dance all in honor of good design!
AIA Tampa Bay and the AIAS-USF Chapter are seeking the support of local firms and architects to make the 20th Annual Beaux Arts Ball a success. Tax deductible sponsorship opportunities and event tickets are available here.
This year's event will be at the Lion's Eye Institute at 1410 N. 21st Street. Friday, March 23rd from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Tickets are $25 per-person. USF Students free. RSVP required to Brian Flemmings at 727-742-0434.

Indoor air pollution, 1 ceh
As part of a new series of Free CE Programs for AIA Tampa Bay Members, Indoor Environmental Consultants, LLC presents IEC 100 Indoor Air Pollution. Participants will gain an understanding of the history leading to the problem of Indoor Air Pollution and how it relates to identifying the causes, recognizing the effects and defining and applying active solutions.
The 1 CEH class is free for Members and $10 for

LEED Accreditation
thursday March 29th, Part I
AIA Tampa Bay encourages all associates, interns, architect members and non-members to distinguish the profession by gaining an understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources, and processes.
On Thursday, March 29th the Associate Committee will host the first class of a two part series called, Introducing LEED: A Path to Accreditation,at the the Bank of America Building, 101 E Kennedy, Suite 3865. The first class will introduce students to LEED followed by a second class that will prepare students for the LEED exam. Stay tuned for more information!

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY HISTORIC RESOURCES REVIEW BOARD
The Hillsborough County Historic Resources Review Board (HRRB), the architectural review board for the protection of historic resources in unincorporated Hillsborough County has an opening for an architect.
All nominees must be registered voters in Hillsborough County and must be residents of the unincorporated area of Hillsborough County. Appointments are voluntary positions, and members serve without compensation. Terms are for 3 years.
