Archifest Starts in a Week
Tour The Towers of Channelside
The AIA TB Associates committee will kick of Archifest 2007 on Tuesday, October 2nd, with a building tour of an unfinished urban project, The Towers of Channelside.
Designed by Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects and built by Batson Cook, the 2 tower 29 story building follows the popular Floridian trend of moving the beach resort lifestyle into the city. "In recent years we’ve watched the trends in condominium development move from resort areas toward urban centers,” says Chuck Jones, Principal with Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects.
Check out this new style of urban living on Tuesday, October 2nd at 6:00 p.m. in Channelside. Please park in the Channelside garage. Meeting location TBD. Please dress for a construction site.
