AIA TB Bylaws Finalized
AT SEPT. 6TH AIA TB BOARD MEETING
All
members should have received a package in the mail with information on the
proposed changes to the
AIA
Tampa
Bay
bylaws. The package contains a summary of the proposed changes, a full
review of the current bylaws and voting card with prepaid postage. Please
don't forget to cast your vote on the proposed changes by either checking
"yes" on the voting card and dropping it in the mail or attend
the September 6th Board Meeting at the AIA Tampa Bay Headquarters.

to nominate a candidate or turn in your submittal. The Service Awards Nominations & Firm of the Year Award Submittals
are due Friday, September 7th,

Join the Urban Charrette and the AIA:RUDC as its first of three community
forums: Designing our Region:
Tampa
Small scale, September 08, 2007 at the Tampa Museum of Art. What makes a
livable City? Examine current trends in urban design and explore
opportunities for a “Livable Tampa Bay.”
This is an excellent opportunity to educate yourself and your neighborhood
on topics such as walkability, street design, and the link between public
health and the built environment. Design Matters, and this forum discussion
will continue the efforts to use design as a tool to impact our daily lives
by sculpting our built environment. We hope to see you and your neighbors

Design Build Dinner

Are you interested in Design/Build? Please join architect Chip Hayward and others at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12th at Steak and Ale on Westshore Blvd. in Tampa to talk about forming a new AIA Tampa Bay Design-Build Committee.
