THIS FRIDAY - CASUAL MOVIE NIGHT WITH USF SACD & AIA TB
ASSOCIATES
This is a great opportunity for design professionals in all stages of their
career to get together! The design community is invited to join AIA
Associates and USF School of Architecture + Community Design Students for a
casual movie night this Friday, August 31st at the clubhouse at The Quarter in Ybor City,
1810 E Palm Avenue.
Directions.
The cost is $5 for members and students and $10 for non-members.

AT SEPT. 6TH AIA TB BOARD MEETING
All
members should have received a package in the mail with information on the
proposed changes to the AIA
Tampa Bay
bylaws. The package contains a summary of the proposed changes, a full
review of the current bylaws and voting card with prepaid postage. Please
don't forget to cast your vote on the proposed changes by either checking
"yes" on the voting card and dropping it in the mail or attend
the September 6th Board Meeting at the AIA Tampa Bay Headquarters.

Join the Urban Charrette and the AIA:RUDC as its first of three community
forums: Designing our Region: Tampa:
Small scale, September 08, 2007 at the Tampa Museum of Art. What makes a
livable City? Examine current trends in urban design and explore
opportunities for a “Livable Tampa Bay.”
This is an excellent opportunity to educate yourself and your neighborhood
on topics such as walkability, street design, and the link between public
health and the built environment. Design Matters, and this forum discussion
will continue the efforts to use design as a tool to impact our daily lives
by sculpting our built environment. We hope to see you and your neighbors

Occurring at various locations throughout the Tampa
Bay area, including Northern Pinellas

luncheons are intended to provide an informal venue to meet and interact

promotional materials including your website, business cards, letterhead,
etc. There is a $250 fine if the authorization number is not prominently
displayed and should be on your website's homepage.
