AIA TB Lunch N' Learn
gypsum panels - 1 CE
Are you familiar with the new standardization for classifying abuse resistant and impact
resistant gypsum panels? If not, you need to schedule this CES presentation. ASTM C 1629 was adopted in January 2006 by an industry committee and is now the standard for specifying high performance gypsum panels. This presentation will review the tests within the standard and educate you on how these products should be specified and designed into such projects as schools, correctional facilities, public buildings, airports, shopping malls, sports areas, etc.
At the end of this program the participants will be able to identify the best building product for a high abuse or high impact project, understand the performance differences between products and have a general idea of the install costs among them.
Join us at the AIA Tampa Bay Chapter Office on Wednesday, August 29th from 11:45 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. The cost for lunch and the seminar is free for Members and $10 for Non-Members. The program is worth 1 HSW CE Credit. RSVP online or call 813-229-3411.
