Summer Exploration Studio
AIA Summer Camp - July 16-27, 2007
The Architectural Heritage Committee of AIA Tampa Bay presents the Summer Exploring Architecture Studio, July 16 - 27, a program designed to assist students in making an informed choice about a career in architecture and other design disciplines. High School age students will learn about careers in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design and planning. They will be introduced to successful architects, take tours of architectural landmarks and be taught basic design principles. It's a great way for a student to learn about a career before starting college.
The program is open to high school students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grades who are interested in a career in architecture and design. Learn more about the Summer Exploring Architecture Studio and the application process click here. Scholarships are available, special consideration given to relatives of AIA members.
