The Florida Cottage Design Competition
The Florida Foundation for Architecture

Call for Entries Using various housing vocabularies from Florida, blended with state-of-the-art "Green Building" technology, the Florida Foundation for Architecture is sponsoring a design competition for AIA Florida Emerging Professionals.

Emerging Professionals are defined as Architecture Students in the Florida University system, Associate AIA Members, and Architects licensed less then 10 years. More information + Registration



David Thaddeus Structures Seminar

July 11-13, 2008

This full weekend workshop will be led by Professor David Thaddeus, an Associate Professor of Structures and Architectural Design at the College of Architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The ARE Structures Seminar covers the two structural divisions of the ARE: General Structures and Lateral Forces David is a nationally recognized seminar leader, having taught this Architect Registration Examination (ARE) review seminar for the structural divisions since 1989.
